CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS

Eidfjord
Nestled amidst Norway's dramatic fjords and verdant landscapes, Eidfjord is a place of sublime beauty. Explore the rugged footpaths of nearby Hardangervidda National Park or sit back and take in the wondrous vistas from a quayside cafe.

Bergen
Known by some as 'The City of Seven Mountains', Bergen exudes the full richness of Norway's natural splendour. UNESCO-listed Bryggen is a reminder of the town's historic importance as a trading port, while the surrounding fjords offer breathtaking vistas.

Flam
Flam, Norway, is a serene fjord-side village enveloped by dramatic vistas. From the iconic Flam Railway to cascading waterfalls, the village beckons travellers to breathe in the raw beauty of Norwegian landscapes.

Please note this sailing is a multi-generational sailing. There are no dedicated children's facilities on board.

From 2025 onwards, our multigenerational cruises will operate an ‘Open Sitting’ policy in our main dining rooms. This allows guests to have the flexibility to dine at a time that is convenient for them, by simply making their way to the main restaurant when they choose throughout the evening, rather than being allocated to a specific sitting for the duration of their cruise.

This also means that those guests travelling on one of our multigenerational sailings, will no longer need to select their preference of either a specific sitting or table size in advance of their cruise, via our My Ambassador Sailing facility on our website.

ORCA

ORCA is one of the UK’s leading whale and dolphin conservation charities, dedicated to the protection of whales, dolphins and porpoises around the world. Ocean Conservationists will be showcasing the incredible diversity of wildlife that can be spotted from the deck, helping everyone learn more about the marine environment around them whilst collecting vital data about whales, dolphins and porpoises to contribute to their protection. Whilst on board, the team will be delivering activities to help guests learn more about these amazing animals as well as the threats they face, including the Ambassador & ORCA pledge and the first ever cruise "Anti-whaling" campaign.

What to expect on this sailing... Norway is an area we have studied for over 15 years and is increasingly an important habitat for different species including one of the world's most iconic species, orca. Data collection in Norway is important to monitor the impact of commercial whaling on minke whale populations.. Sailing back through the Shetland Islands also gives another chance to see orca.
