CRUISE HIGHLIGHTS
Civitavecchia - for Rome, Italy
From the wonderfully preserved Pantheon to the impressive Colosseum, Rome is full of monuments. Be sure to visit the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Rome also incorporates the independent state of the Vatican City, which is the seat of the Pope.
Sicily, Italy
At the heart of the Mediterranean, Sicily is one of the most beautiful places in Italy. It is home to numerous vineyards that stretch across the magnificent landscape, making it a prime place to sample some fine Italian wine. It boasts a rich history, which is reflected in the well-preserved Greek temples and Byzantine mosaics in Palermo’s Cappella Palatina.
Toulon, France
Soak up the glamorous Riviera when you visit this traditionally French city in the South of France. Toulon sits against the backdrop of rugged limestone mountains that can be accessed by cable car for panoramic views of the stunning coast. It is also a significant naval base and is home to exhibits such as the grand Musée National de la Marine.
Valencia, Spain
The golden hue of this Mediterranean city is a sight to behold, and the charming old town is a contrast to the various futuristic buildings. Known for its City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia has many educational sites such as the planetarium, and an interactive museum, as well as stunning landscapes further afield including the Albufera Park wetlands reserve.
