I tried to contact Ambassador by phone to check the details of the itinerary. Due to 'high call volumes', I was unable to speak to anybody and requested a call back. This was promised within 2 working hours but never came. I left it for a few days thinking to give up on the idea. When I checked the website again, I noticed the error in the itinerary had been corrected so I went ahead and booked online. This was fairly easy except for difficulty in entering our dates of birth. Hopefully the customer service will improve.

Person I spoke to at Customer Services to book cruise was very friendly. I had a problem as on the invoice it didn't show the cabin number we had booked so emailed her and she phoned straight back to assure us that we had booked the cabin number but didn't know why it wasn't showing on the invoice. She resent the invoice and the new one showed that we had paid in full but still didn't show the cabin number but as she assured me that all was ok I was happy. She took the time to sort out our problem.

Only cruised once before with Ambassador, sadly weather caused us not to sail, we was compensated very good and why we booked this 2nd cruise, due to 50% refund and 50% off next cruise. Although slightly complicated we got it all booked with the discount, however STILL WAITING for the refund for 2 off us 4 week on, was told by booking lady that it would just arrive. However weeks later we find an e-mail in spam folder and unable to reply?? so contacted via their normal e-mail, they have replied asking for booking numbers etc so we wait and hope, especially as one of us could not get time off to go again so lost the 50% off chance already. WILL UPDATE when solved, or not
