“Shuttle from cruise terminal to Dundee stationn.”

Original booking on the teleohone was straightforward and pleasant. In making plans for transport to Dundee we just wondered why there is no provision of a shuttle bus from Dundee Station to the cruise terminal just like there is at Tyne Tees. It is not as busy a station but would enable an easier journey from arrivals from the South ,North and West areas. This is a digression from the service we received but is part of the problems we have in making sure we have no problems in getting to the port of Dundee. The parking charge is now quite steep for Dundee and that and the drive rules out us from using our car.

All done by e-mail and no complaints so far about the ordering process. It would be good to be offered a table for two instead of enforced table for 4 or more. It would allow a more positive answer when being asked if we mind our room to be changed when the only reply would be yes for an upgrade. We have cruised with Ambassador a few times and always felt fairly comfortable with them.

“Booking Online Easy and Straightforward”

Booking was quite straightforward Normally computers and I have a difference of opinion between our respective definitions of being "intuitive"! The Ambassador system worked well with NO jams and NO need to contact any support lines or frustrating AI Chats (which have never been helpful ANY time they have popped up never!) I was able to determine exactly what I was booking both category and cabin number, and it was easy for me to spend my money! I hope the actual cruise runs just as smoothly. The only 2 suggestions I would make would be: 1. The ship deck maps could be larger (or enlargable) so that you can read the cabin numbers without resorting to a magnifying glass. I took a photo on the ipad and enlarged that. 2. A friend of ours was also trying to book but is a solo traveller. He found that when solo cabins run out there is no clear definite statement to that effect. The computer just refuses to proceed unless you select a different cabin category which does have solo cabins available. This was frustrating for him.
