Prue & Adrian Knight - Prue has been playing bridge for 25 years and has achieved the rank of Life Master during her tenure. Adrian, her husband, has over 50 years of experience in the game and is an expert in directing and scoring bridge games. Together, they've run bridge lessons since 2013, leading sessions to pass on their knowledge and skills.
Martin & Judy Holcombe - Martin, a retired police offer with 30 years of service in the Criminal Investigation Department, has been a bridge player for many years, currently holding the title of Premier National Master. Together with his wife Judy, they've taught bridge on holiday for 19 years. Their lessons are well-prepared and comprehensive, allowing you to pick up the game or refine your skill.
Paul & Diana Gange - This husband-and-wife team is a powerhouse of the bridge world, both Grand Masters in their own right and having competed at national levels. Over the last 25 years, the couple has travelled the Northern Hemisphere, playing in the European Championships representing Wales, the World Mind Olympics in Beijing and many others. Diana has played for over 50 years and has been President of the Welsh Bridge Union twice during her tenure.
Ian & Teresa Ferguson - Experienced instructors who have competed and won at a national level multiple times, Ian and Teresa have represented five counties in bridge. Ian, who began playing at the age of 12 captained the Oxford University team during his time at the esteemed institute. They met at bridge club before getting married and winning their first major tournament together after returning from their honeymoon.
John & Sarah Barker - With a strong passion for introducing new players to the game, John and Sarah have been teaching bridge for over 12 years. The organise weekly games and have a following of over 300 keen bridge players.
All of our hosts are skilled and passionate about the game and will impart their knowledge and expertise to those who join our cruises for bridge players. They’ll be running competitions during these itineraries, as well as teaching the game.

A game of skill and intellect, bridge, known as contract bridge, is a strategic trick-tracking game. Played between two teams of two, this competitive game requires a mix of skill, communication and strategy. If you don’t already know how to play bridge, don’t worry; these cruises all feature bridge lessons by an experienced bridge teacher who can help you get to grips with the game.
All of these itineraries are also perfect bridge cruises for singles. Whether your travel partner doesn’t enjoy the game or you prefer singles cruises, you’ll be able to find a teammate at our daily bridge games.
