Ambassadors 2024 Awards and Accreditations

2024 has been a big year for Ambassador and one that we will remember for a long time, with a plethora of new sponsorship and partnership agreements with organisations like Croquet England, Essex County Cricket and Surrey County Cricket, to welcoming thousands of new passengers onboard our duo of ships.
To top it off, 2024 was the year that Ambassador Cruise Line took home four industry awards across a multitude of sectors, recognising and marking our place as a favourite in the UK cruise market.

Best No-Fly Cruise Line in the UK – British Travel Awards
On the 19th of November 2024, Ambassador won Best No-Fly Cruise Line in the UK at the British Travel Awards. This award is a recognition of our great UK no-fly cruise offering and our roster of 8 UK departure ports. The British Travel Awards (BTAs) are the largest consumer-voted travel awards in the UK, and over one million votes were cast in 2024.
The team commented on the win after the awards: “This win is incredibly special to us because it’s been voted for by you, our amazing guests and supporters. Over the past three years, we’ve gone from Bronze to Silver, to now Gold – a true reflection of our commitment to delivering affordable quality, exceptional dining and entertainment, and the warmest welcome at sea.”
Consumer Favourite for Collaborations - Sailawaze Excellence Awards
The Sailawaze Excellence Awards took place on 16th May 2024, and Ambassador came home with a win in the Consumer Favourite for Collaborations category for our collaboration alongside Essex Cricket Club, offering our guests tickets to their matches across 2024.
The Sailawaze Excellence are special for us, as they are decided by a judging panel of cruise industry experts and then voted for by the public. This means not only do our peers see the work we’re doing, but we know our guests value it too.
Best Ocean Cruise Line – Silver Travel Awards
Chosen by an engaged audience of over-50s travellers, the Silver Travel Awards took place on Thursday, 24th October and was a star-studded night. Ambassador took home the award for the Best Ocean Cruise Line.
Overall Favourite Holiday Provider – Silver Travel Awards
The second award of the night at the Silver Travel Awards was for Overall Favourite Holiday Provider, a huge accolade for Ambassador. Across all travel types – from cruising to rail travel – we were voted the best holiday provider for over 55s in the UK.

2022 British Travel Awards – Bronze for No-fly Cruise Holidays
Feefo Platinum Status
If you’ve never cruised with us before, then you may look at reviews of previous cruisers to see what they think about Ambassador. Well, we are thrilled to announce that we have recently gained Platinum status on Feefo.
The status is given to companies and businesses that have gained gold standard for three consecutive years and have maintained a score of 4.5 or more from a minimum of 50 reviews. As a newly formed cruise line, being able to achieve this status so early in our journey is great and shows that our customers have valued their experiences with us.
Looking to the future with Ambassador
2024 was a great year for Ambassador, but there’s so much to look forward to in 2025 and beyond. Ambassador have recently merged with French company Compagnie Française de Croisières (CFC) to form the Ambassador Group, and we are soon to launch our third ship, Renaissance. Ambassador Group will focus on no-fly European cruises with the introduction of a Caribbean itinerary in Q4 of 2025.
Not only are we expanding our fleet, but we also have a selection of new cruises being introduced over the 2025 and 2026 seasons. 2026 will see the introduction of the Solar Eclipse cruises, where you will visit Scotland, Iceland and the Mediterranean to catch a rare glimpse of this amazing phenomenon.
